ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN ROSE & YELLOW GOLD FILLED
BAMBOO WITH FLYING DUCK PIN/BROOCH!
I RECENTLY ACQUIRED A SMALL ESTATE COLLECTION OF MID 1800'S UP TO MID 1900'S JEWELRY. THERE ARE MANY UNIQUE & RARE ITEMS. LISTED FOR AUCTION TODAY IS A WONDERFUL MID 1800'S EDWARDIAN PIN OR BROOCH. IT IS UN-MARKED, WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 7.4 GRAMS AND MEASURES ABOUT 2 5/8" X 5/8". IT IS TWO BAMBOO BARS SECURED WITH BRAIDED TRIM AND WITH AN ELEGANT BRIGHT GOLD WASH. APPLIED IN THE CENTER IS A ROSE GOLD PLAQUE THAT MEASURES 7/8" X 5/8" X 1/8" HIGH. THE CENTER IS RECESSED WITH BEADED BORDER, ROUGH NUGGETS AROUND A FLYING DUCK! THE DUCK HAS A ROSE GOLD WASH AS WELL. THE ENTIRE PIN HAS A BLACK ANTIQUED FINISH ADDING DETAIL AND DEPTH. THE PIN HAS A BARREL AND C CLASP AND IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. IT HAS CERTAINLY BEEN WORN, IS JUST AS I RECEIVED IT AND A VERY RARE AND UNUSUAL PIN!
