This poster has a two inch tear on the lower edge but nothing torn of or missing and pin holes on the corners and upper and lower edges. There is a small light trace of tea colored staining on the tip of the upper left hand corner which does not really detract or show much on the front of the poster as well as moderate handling wear. The poster displays nicely with rich color.

    This is inviting poster was issued by the Lufthansa Airline to promote travel to Munich’s famous annual Oktoberfest celebration in 1976. A joyful man in Tyrolean hat smiles broadly with one arm around his frau and the other with a firm grip on a large glass mug of bier. The lower right hand corner has printing indicating this poster was designed by Fritz Wagner and printed by Klein & Volbert of Munich.
