2 Antique Miniature Italian Micro Mosaic Collar Pins Flowers & Ferns - Brooch

Description

Offering two, small antique micro mosaic brooches. Impressed into the brass backing of one is a faint, Made in Italy. These date from the 1920s -1930s and were souvenirs of the time. The second pin is still on the original old card which says, Genuine Mosaic.
The square shaped brooch measures only 7/8" square. The pin at the back runs from point to point so that the brooch is worn as a diamond shape.
The oval brooch measures 1 3/4" in length and 3/4" wide. The pin runs from point to point.
The glass tiles on both of these are so small it's hard to believe they did this all by hand. There are yellow and red flowers, fans, red stars in white circles, and white ferns with crowns of red and green.
I believe these brooches to be complete in tiny tiles but please examine my blown up pictures carefully.
The pins work well and there is some tarnish on the brass backs of both pieces.
