I have to start by saying that as good as this brooch looks in the photos, it is even better in person.
This
true victorian brooch
features a golden vermeil wash over sterling silver.  The most luscious, sparkly, fabulously faceted, deep cut, Rock Crystal stones that I have had in my hands.  Nestled between the open-back bezel settings around the outer edge are fan shaped elements in a golden vermeil.
The outer 8 cushion cut stones and the center stone are so deep that the points of the stones are all the way to the edge of the open bezel settings.  The round chaton shaped crystal stones circling the center stone are as equally impressive deep cuts.  In my opinion, these are not your average rock crystal stones but are truly some of the best examples I have seen!
