Antique Primitive Carved Wood Speculaas Springerle Cookie Mold Press - Pig Boar

Description

Listed is an old, primitive Carved Wood Cookie Mold / Press with an artistic figure I believe to be a Pig or Wild Boar.  The Mold / Press measures approximately 6-3/4 inches wide, 4-3/4 inches tall and a max 3/4 inches thick.  The thickness is not uniform (see photos).  It tapers toward the top and bottom where the edges have been rounded.  The mold is clearly hand-carved and about 1/4 inch recessed.  There are a few rough places in the wood as shown in photos.  Generally, in good condition for its age.  Please look at all photos as they are part of the item description.  The wood is more brown than it appears in the photos due to the lighting in which the photos were taken.  Actual color is best represented in photo #3 but its even darker than that.
