This Antique Victorian brooch features freshwater pearl in the center accented by clear spinel stones. A spinel is a gemstone that can appear in different colors such as red, yellow, violet, blue, and black. Many spinel stones found its way into crown jewels around the world in the 1600"s to the 1800"s. This yellow 14k gold brooch is a great find for a collector. It measures 2” long by 3/16” at the widest point. This pin has “C” catch pin back fastener. This brooch is acid tested for 14k gold. The pin is in good pre-owned condition with minimal amounts of surface scratching.
