Antique Victorian 3D Gold Filled Red Rhinestone Kinetic Mechanical Flower Brooch

Very Good Vintage Condition. No visible defects. Some fine surface scratches, verdigris & oxidation, and gold finish wear. Brooch has a two tone, yellow and rose gold patina. Octagon Etruscan style shadow box holds a loosely-caged floral and starburst centerpiece that rotates a little in either direction. Each stone is held by at least 6 prongs. Petals are etched in an intricate pattern.
Closure is a classic early Victorian, mid to late 1800's C-clasp and pun set in a tube hinge. Pin overlaps the outermost edge of brooch by several millimeters.
