Absolutely stunning Antique Victorian Late 19th century or turn of the century large gold tone brooch.
Featuring a large gold tone frame with art nouveau scrolls, embellished with Dark purple and Green chatons, a centric -old European cut (seems like) Amethyst - either stone or glass and a grape bunch on the top and bottom.
In Victorian jewelry, grapes are usually related with Rebirth or with the Christian belief, Jesus Christ.

Photos really don't do it justice, can't see how lovely the chatons sparkle, especially the contrast that the green chatons give to the purple chatons- Unfortunately it gets lost in the photos due to the lighting.
The last two photos represent the color of the chatons better.
There is some surface wear, especially to the gold tone, all stones are present, Its an overall gorgeous and lovely piece!
