    Description

    Beautiful antique cameo with a Roman profile (note the toga draped over one shoulder). The shell is raised higher at the head and a little at the breast area and is well carved.
    Cameo is 3/4" x 1 1/8".
    The setting is an etched rolled gold frame (I was told it is rolled gold when I bought it, not solid), very thin with rounded corners. It has a wonderful sheen to it and measures about 1 1/8" x 1 3/8".
    Great condition - only a little wear on the back finish and one tiny spot on front of the gold frame.
    Older safety clasp.
