I RECENTLY ACQUIRED A SMALL GROUP OF FABULOUS ANTIQUE ITEMS AND THIS BEAUTY WAS AMONG THEM. IT IS UN-MARKED, WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 31 GRAMS AND MEASURES 2 3/8" X 1 7/8". THE BACK IS A RICH BRIGHT GOLD WASH WITH PIN AND C CLASP. THE TINY PIN THROUGH THE END OF THE BAR HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A BENT WIRE (JUST AS I RECEIVED IT). THERE ARE SIX PRONGS THAT SECURE THE LIMOGES PORCELAIN TO THE FRAME. IT FEATURES DELICATELY HAND PAINTED VIOLETS WITH LEAVES AND STEMS AND GOLD TRIMMED EDGE. IT IS IN WONDERFUL CONDITION, READY TO WEAR! UNUSUAL TO FIND SUCH A LARGE ONE.
