What an interesting clothes steamer. It comes in a bunch of pieces but easy to set up and take apart. It has the steam container for the water and you have to wait for the water to steam up, just like a standard clothes steamer. However, here is what is a useful addition: a small ironing board that connects to the horizontal set up (with water container at the bottom) and can be used snapped in vertically if you want to steam a garment hanging up or down vertically as you would normally have an ironing board so you can use the steam attachment that looks like a small old fashioned 'iron' iron. However, it isn't iron but teflon coated with good openings for as much steam as you need to come out. This is controlled by a foot petal on the bottom of the water container. I like this model better than the old fashioned hanging steamer that I have.

This unit is easy to assemble. The assembly directions are very easy to follow and are provided in both written and photo form. This steamer has pros and cons. It has lots of features with the ironing board and hanger for upright or horizontal steaming. Some of the plastic pieces feel like they are not going to last, and the brush attachment for the steam iron kept falling off while I did upright steaming. My first attempt was on wrinkled linen napkins. Some of the wrinkles came out, but I still had to use a regular iron to finish. Clothing have steamed out better as long as the material is not too thick. I appreciate the power button that is operated by your foot.

I'm overall very impressed with this iron/steamer combo. Upon assembly I'm thinking this is going to be a wimpy little device, but boy was I wrong. This unit is to a traditional iron what a pressure washer is to a garden hose. It packs a punch. The entire unit is compact and doesn't take up much space. The ironing board is on the smaller side and I wish it were a bit longer. It's fine for shirts but for pants it's a little small. I also wish it could be raised up higher. It's too low for me, but I'm getting used to it. The iron itself is very compact and only has five little steam vents but it's very powerful. The steam is pressurized and is controlled by a button on the handle. Upon pressing the button you get a very powerful burst of steam that's continuous as long as you're holding the button. You have to be careful where you're holding your garment in relation to the iron because you can easily get burned. I feel like it cuts my ironing time by about a third. It gets the wrinkles out better than any iron or steamer I've used in the past. It also has a built in hanger for steaming garments while they hang and has another hook for hanging your own hanger. It also has a bracket to hold the iron so you don't have to set it on the ironing board. I'm deducting one star only because of the small size of the ironing board and that I can't raise it as high as I would like.

Well-packed and protected in shipping and very easy to assemble, good instructions. I have used this several times and yes, it takes a bit longer to heat up the water, but it is worth the wait time! You can use it as an iron only, steam only or iron and steam, and the steam comes out so even and quite powerful, a good thing. For shirts, it has cut down the time for over half. Slacks and skirts-wonderfully easy as the ironing board option can be used horizontally and vertically. It also packs itself up into a slim unit and can easily be put behind a door. LOVE it!
