This is a nice old vintage porcelain portrait miniature painting of a woman set as a pin or brooch (see photos). The brooch is framed with what looks to be a gold plated metal to me (see photos). The item has a hand painted painting of a woman on Limoges porcelain in the center (see photos). The painting is well done with fine attention to detail and it is the work of a skilled artist. The portrait is not signed by the artist. I do not know the subject of the portrait painting. The porcelain is marked on the back for the maker: Limoges France (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The item in total measures about 1 and 3/4ths inches high and it is about 1 and 3/4ths inches wide. The item has some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This item would be a nice addition to your collection.
