It was in 1894 that the Trianon-Concert, a new café'cone in the Paris square, was created, which took place in the garden of the Élysée-Montmartre. Exceptional place, exceptional architecture: the structure of the Pavilion of France created by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World's Fair is recycled by architect Édouard Jean Niermans to serve as the frame for this new place... which burned in 1900 (the scourge of theatres). Before the Trianon-Concert became the Trianon Theatre in 1902 thanks to Joseph Cassien-Bernard (also architect of the Pont Alexandre-III) and took on the façade that we know him today. This magnificent Italian-style theatre will take turns as a music hall and then an ultra-busy neighbourhood cinema. But in the 80s, the hall loses its aura, holds firm, is even listed as a historical monument in 1982... However, the golden age seems to be over: cinema closed in 1992.
The same year, Guy Balensi took over the Trianon and breathed a breath of life into it by making it a place dedicated to the performing arts - his primary vocation - which welcomed various shoots and artists: Camille, Arthur H, Claude Nougaro or Carla Bruni era

. It's getting better... in any case, the place is profitable.
