  • Condition: The Schafer and Vater hatpin stand has some paint loss; the top center hat pin hole in the stand is chipped. There is some dirt on the stand. The hatpin with the turquoise is missing one turquoise stone. The bottoms of some of the pins are bent.

    Signed Schafer and Vater ( German ) Hatpin Holder Stand with Pink and Green Cameos including 10 Hatpins
    The imprinted Schafer and Vater  mark on the bottom of the stand is barely visible.
    The stand is approximately 5 "height x 3" diameter at the hexagon base corners.
    10 Antique and Vintage Hatpins. There are 2 pairs of hatpins. The hatpin with the missing turquoise stone is alpaca: the rest are base metal. The tops of the hatpins are art glass, velvet, celluloid, rhinestones and a beaded ball.
    The pins range in dimensions as seen on the inch grid photos.
    These hatpins are like small 3-D sculptures.
    Condition:  The stand has some paint loss, and the top center hole is chipped. Some of the hatpins are slightly bent in the bottom areas. The alpaca hatpin is missing one turquoise cabochon.
    Which hat today? Which hatpin today? Actually, this just looks fabulous sitting on the dresser or vanity... like a vase of favorite sparkling flowers.
