While you're inside keeping safe and warm this Fall make some fun Halloween Cookies with the kids using these great terracotta cookie stamps. These are a nice change from common cookie cutters. Instead of rolling out dough and cutting out each desired shape one at a time, these can be used to simply stamp your design onto the surface of a piece of dough. The pressure from the stamp will flatten your ball of dough into a perfectly even cookie eliminating the need to roll out dough in advance!
Set includes four fun designs:

Green Handle: Jack-O-Lantern
Basic Preparation and Helpful Hints:
– Season cookie stamps before each use by using toothbrush to oil
lightly
with cooking oil. Re-oil
lightly
as needed when stamping to prevent sticking.
Never use butter!!!
The oil protects the stamp from the butter in your recipes and keeps them from turning rancid while stored.
– Clean stamps with hot soapy water and soft brush.
– If your recipe calls for creaming the butter and sugar, be sure not to over-cream, as this may introduce excess air into the batter which can cause the imprinted design to melt away somewhat during baking. High-speed mixers may cream too fast try turning it to the slowest speed or else cream by hand.
– Experiment with your own butter cookie recipes. You may want to avoid ones that contain baking powder or baking soda, as the design disappears as the cookie rises.
– You may also want to experiment with the type and brand of flour you use, as flours vary by sack and brand and may affect the texture of the dough and ability to hold the stamp designs. If the design stamps well but disappears when baked, add a little more flour to the dough. You may find you prefer to use more flour than is called for in our recipes. You may also find that bread flour holds the designs better because it has more gluten.
– When finished decorating your cookies, clean the face of your stamps with hot water and a soft brush to remove all traces of butter. Your cookie stamps may be washed like any dish.

Shipping costs these days are astronomical and fluctuate often due to economic influences worldwide. eBay also charges us a percentage of the price you pay us for shipping. Combine that with all the supplies (outlined in the section below) that come out of our pocket and sometimes we lose money shipping the item to our customers. HOWEVER, i

Our Process:
We go out treasure hunting for each of our unique items so that you don't have to! We travel all around to estate sales, antique shops, flea markets, thrift shops and art festivals finding genuine antiques, one-of-a-kind custom made items, quirky and unique stuff and those absolutely must-have items. When necessary, we thoroughly clean and repair them (without risking the inherent integrity of the piece).
Then we determine the pricing, which is based on the price we paid, the condition, online interest and availability of the item(s).
We take more than a dozen professional-style photos of the items. We research everything we can find on our products and their manufacturers to pass that knowledge on to you, the savvy shopper. Whenever possible with our vintage or antique items we research and post information on the provenance. We discover how to properly care for the items and pass those suggestions on to you. After all that effort we create the listing with detailed descriptions and all other pertinent information to help you make a well-informed selection. Then we proudly post the items to our eBay store!
Storage & Packaging:
Until the items find a new home we keep them safe in our secure storage facility. Once sold we package the items with all the care we would want our own orders shipped. We purchase the right size box for the job to ship the item to you, then there's the packing tape, bubble wrap, air pouches and "FRAGILE" stickers all purchased by us to ensure safe shipping. Finally, we drive them to the shipper. (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) for delivery hoping they care as much as we do about its safe arrival. We wish we could hand deliver them to you, but alas, we cannot. We rely on the shippers professionalism and care to get the items safely to your home.
Please hold onto the original packaging (for at least 30 days) for any possible returns.
Items Damaged in Shipping:
We take great pride in packing our products to precision for safe shipping and storage once the item arrives. That being said, unfortunately breakage happens!
We cannot control how the Shippers (USPS, UPS or FedEx) handle a package once it has left our safe hands.
If you receive a damaged shipment, please keep in mind we did not damage it. We find some of the most incredible, often rare treasures, so when they are broken en route to you it breaks our hearts.
If your item does arrive broken, please contact us before opening a case with eBay.
We are not circumventing the returns process whatsoever, we are simply trying to resolve it as quickly as possible for both of us.
We will need photos of the damaged item(s) and the box it came in so we can file a claim with the shipper.
Your cooperation in this process allows us to issue you a refund long before we ever receive one (if ever) from the shipper.
