    Description

    This medal, of a type I hadn't seen in 30 years of collecting, came home with a WWII vet along with a number of nice WWII German items.   I purchased all of them from his son some years ago.  It has been suggested that this is a 15-year award for membership in the Kriegsverein, which I believe is a veteran's group.
    The crown suggests Imperial Germany, and the enameling skill matches the best I've seen on 3rd Reich items.
    Because I can't identify it specifically, I'll put it out for bids and offers.  If someone can elaborate on this award, please let me know and I'll add it to the description.
