WWII GERMAN AFRIKA CUFF TITLE w/SEWN ENDS – UNIFORM REMOVED

Description

This is an extremely fine World War II German ‘Afrika’ cuff title that remains in excellent condition. It is constructed on light tan doeskin/camel hair wool and has the word, ‘Afrika’ and the two palm trees embroidered in heavy silver colored cotton thread. The palm trees on either side of ‘Afrika’ have very fine detail. The outer edges are bordered with single strands of silver Russian braid sewn to the wool. This cuff title has been sewn at the ends and was carefully removed from a uniform as evidenced by the remaining threads along the edges. The quality and craftsmanship on this cuff title is superb. It remains a fine-looking example in excellent, undamaged condition.
