WWII GERMAN KNIGHTS CROSS MAGNETIC IRON CORE 1957 VETERAN VERSION

Description

This is a unique collectible in the line of 1957 Knights Crosses.  It's actually a quality replica of a "C" frame Steinhauer & Luck cross made in the late 1980s and sold by "The Regalia Specialist" out of England.  It sold at the time for around 0.  In collecting circles it is known as "The Morigi Fake", named after the proprietor Nicholas Morigi.  Unfortunately, many of these were purchased by the collecting community and later sold as real S&L versions for hundreds of dollars more!
These are actually hard to find, rarely seen for sale as many are in collections and have become collectible in their own right. Quality made three-piece construction of a two-piece silver frame and iron core. The silver frame is unmarked, but the ribbon jump ring is 800 silver marked. Comes complete with original neck ribbon which tests UV negative (no glow).
A unique item that should be in every 1957 collection!
