Description

This is a fine World War II German Panzer Hauptmann shoulder Board and collar tab set that is in excellent condition. The collar tab is hand embroidered in heavy metallic silver bullion thread on a fine dark green wool backing. Each silver bar is with pink litzen indicating service in the Panzer regiments. The reverse of the tab is with the correct textured Buckram stiffener. The shoulder board is a sew-in type with silver braid on a pink woolen base. There are two gold rank pips affixed indicating the rank of Hauptmann. The edge of the board displays signs of where it was once sewn into the shoulder of a uniform. Both pieces are without moth damage and remain in excellent condition.
